Structure of longitudinal chromomagnetic fields in high energy collisions

We compute expectation values of spatial Wilson loops in the forward light cone of high-energy collisions. We consider ensembles of gauge field configurations generated from a classical Gaussian effective action as well as solutions of high-energy renormalization group evolution with fixed and running coupling. The initial fields correspond to a color field condensate exhibiting domain-like structure over distance scales of order the saturation scale. At later times universal scaling emerges at large distances for all ensembles, with a nontrivial critical exponent. Finally, we compare the results for the Wilson loop to the two-point correlator of magnetic fields.

The “living book”, a new format from the Life Sciences, made it possible to take stock of a subject, to highlight a corpus of images, an advanced research and a bibliography. This hybrid, Web-oriented format is re-positioning the producer, the user and the technology. Kotimaiset tieteelliset julkaisut ja avoimuus

This study examines open access availability and self-archiving policies of 336 Finnish peer reviewed journals and serials which are classified at levels 1 to 3 in national Publication Forum. The study concludes that 53 % of Finnish peer reviewed publication channels are open access and 12 % of non-open access publication channels have defined their green open access policy to allow self-archiving. 6 % of publications practice delayed open access model and 2 % hybrid model. The study also concludes that only a small group of Finnish peer reviewed journals meet the focal Plan S requirements. peerReviewed

Digitalisaatio on alentanut tutkimustiedon etsimiskustannuksia merkittävästi ja mahdollistanut tutkimustiedon tehokkaamman leviämisen. Tästä huolimatta tutkijoiden omat julkaisukäytäntöihin liittyvät valinnat vaikuttavat edelleen tutkimusjulkaisujen löydettävyyteen Internetissä. Rakstā aplūkota Open Access kustība kā iespēja publicēties bez finansiāliem, tiesiskiem vai tehniskiem ierobežojumiem. Autori raksturo Open Access kustības attīstību Latvijā no 2009. līdz 2013. gadam. Šajā laika posmā Latvijas Universitātes Bibliotēka devusi lielu ieguldījumu zinātnieku informēšanā par Open Access iniciatīvām, organizējot lekcijas, diskusijas, sniedzot konsultācijas un sagatavojot informatīvos materiālus. Les archives ouvertes s’inscrivent de plus en plus solidement et durablement dans le paysage documentaire de l’enseignement supérieur. Si les organismes de recherche ont été précurseurs pour la création d’archives ouvertes, les grandes écoles, mais surtout les universités ont désormais massivement rejoint le mouvement. Signe de cette progression notable, 82 % des répondants disposent en 2017 d’une archive en production ou en cours de mise en œuvre, contre 62 % en 2014.
